Polygonal North Oy at BSTF 2025: data, climate and regenerative tourism
This week we joined the Baltic Sea Tourism Forum in Gdańsk to expand networks for ProxyLab’s REDIRECT and to scan best practices for data-driven, climate-smart destinations. The Forum focused on regenerative and data-based tourism across the Baltic Sea Region, 1–2 October 2025. EUSBSR+1
Session highlights included: using destination data for real management value (D3HUB), real-time tourism data for policymaking (Estonia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs), and DEPLOYTOUR’s path toward the European Tourism Data Space. EUSBSR+2Deploytour+2
On climate-neutral destinations, cases from Finland, Norway and Denmark showcased certified approaches and city-level models for climate-smart tourism management. Interreg Baltic Sea Region
We closed with a strong message from the Global Destination Sustainability Movement: data must translate into impact and regenerative transformation. gds.earth
